However, we did notice that it was quite warm in the back which could be a problem in hotter rooms.

The Swan is quite quiet, despite being an old-fashioned compressor model. We measured it at a fairly modest 42dB while it was running. It's considerably quieter than models of 10 years ago and is far quieter than the majority of fridge freezers on our Best Buy chart.
The stability of temperature was also a plus for a refrigerator that was this kind. The top shelves, middle and bottom all offered an average temperature within just a couple of degrees either way of the maximum figure. The temperature of the salad drawer fluctuated between 5oC and just below freezing.
Like the SR11010, the fridge needs an occasional manual defrost but is rated A+ for energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient freezers for fridges in our Best Buy chart, keeping your energy bills low.
This is a great example of how the Swan brand can offer attractive retro-inspired designs at very affordable prices. The SR11010 is beautiful and is available in a wide spectrum of colors, ranging from the subtle pastel blue we tested to more striking red, pink and orange.
